                                              Did the authorities organising the execution not know mobile phones are now video cameras and a guy standing there with one aimed at the execution was filming it?

                                              Or did they fully know and understand what was going on and wanted the video released?

                                              As for the execution I think it would of been better to have held a referendum and asked the Iraqi people the simple question. Life imprisonment or death?

                                              This would of been a blow to the insurgents and shown the true will of the people.
