    Anyone date off of Craig's List?

    I was looking through the local dating ads and found something very amusing. Most of the posts by females were quite selective in what they like in men. Good looking, good job, works out, into sports, funny, smart, etc. I proceeded to scroll down through the post to their picture. Not ONE of the girls with strict requirements was even half way decent looking or have an average weight. All ugly. All fat. All with shit jobs.

    I have nothing wrong with ugly people. I have nothing wrong with fat people. I don't even have anything wrong with people with crappy jobs so long as they work and have some ambition.

    But holy shit, how does someone like that demand so much from others? The typical post also said "men suck, why can't I find a decent man!" Uh... maybe because you're a stuck-up fat ugly slob that thinks you're God's gift to man when in reality a 30 year old desperate virgin wouldn't want anything to do with you.

    My rant for the evening. Carry on.

                                      i'd say most of the ads on CL are guys looking for pics or guys pranking other guys but then I'm sure you knew that already. Be especially aware of the ads with pics!

                                                      hahaha. this thread is funny and reminds me of stuff I see when I check out ads.

                                                      Ok.. so I'm only 5"4. If I do a personal search on any dating site for girls under 5"4....they ALL say "looking for tall men"...and the dating sites that actually are specific will show "looking for men over 6"0".

                                                      Now in reality no women shorter than me has ever had a problem with my height. Especially women that are like 4"11...anyone is a giant to them, lol.

                                                      I think personal ads are filled out with what peoples "ideal" requirements are, but not necessarily what they date in reality.

                                                      It is kinda funny funny to ready some profiles, lol.

                                                          lol, CL personals used to be a great advertising board for dating sites. Back in the day 1 ad could garner you 10 joins if you knew what you were doing. Now everyone spams it and you'd be lucky to get 1 join off 10 ads. These days CL surfers are so pissed they flag everything and your ad is down before you get any traffic from it.
