I have a 2001 TT Roadster and love it. I am a big dude and have plenty of room in the car. I also like the BMW. I would get the 330 though instead of the 325. Also I don't think anyone brought up the RWD vs FWD. They drive a bit differently.
You can do some fun shit to the TT since it's VW based. Most of the same upgrades for a Golf will work in the TT too. Plus the TT is turbocharged and if you wanted you could mess with the boost and have some more fun. The New TT's are V6 250 hp and are pretty dope.
Also if you get the TT, get the Baseball glove leather if you can. Prolly the coolest interior in a car less than 100k.Comment

Yah I like the TT. Drove a Prowler, S2000 and SLK and liked the TT the best. (although ths SLK hardtop is nice). I just like the style, don't forget I design, so I like something a lil' different.
And no, the beard is as long as ever. Kinda makes me think though when people avoid walking near me, or give me dirty looks at family gatherings. Then I just shrug, laugh it off and let it grow!Comment

but I'ld definitely get a G35 coupe instead of these cars! (it's not bad at all for winter)
with it's V6 3.5L engine, you would leave the TT and 3 series far behind

Who gives a fuck if some people think the TT is a "girlie" car? The Quattro sure isn't. If you like it, get it! I don't let other influence what I like or don't. I just saw the preview pics of the 06 TT and it's bad ass. I was seriously looking at getting rid of my TT for a 350Z roadster, but I may wait to see the new TT redesign.
Someone in this thread mentioned the Miata... it's no longer called Miata, it's the called the MX 5. Just got the new issue of Car & Driver, pg 66 (Sept 05)

I recently drove an Audi A4 and the new BMW 3 series.
I'm going with the BMW for sure.
Most people posting about the BMW haven't driven the new one, it's only been out for about 3 months. Significant improvements over the last model....and the last model was already the best car in it's class.

The stability on the new 3series is amazing. We drove the hell out of it last night taking hard rights and then a soft left at over 50mph.....it hugged the road and the tires didn't squeal once. It was a sweet ride.sig too bigComment
