NaughtyAmerica.COM

] Does anyone promote NaughtyAmerica.COM??? What has been your experiences with them...especially since rhe "NEW" 2257 Law??? They seem to be overinterpretting the law to the point of requiring me (and others?) to be the custodian of content of THEIR content...anyone with any input...well constructive input anyway, please let me know... <smiling sweetly> ginger

I don't know anything about naughtyamerica but I think you will find that the news laws are open to such wide interpretation everyone is confused.

under the new laws you may be classified as a secondary publisher.

If you are, and its open to interpretation. you are legally responsible for the records.

They are in fact looking after you by requiring you to comply.

So don't be pissed with them, thank them.

didn't say I am PO'd at anyone...I am trying to find out if others are being required to sign contracts and be custodians for NA's content...other programs I promote have not even remotely suggested this...this is especially odd to me in that the NA content I use is all G to R rating...NO depictions of sexual explicit acts depicted in them...

They are probably trying to cover their own ass then

Overpaid laywers have probably told them to sign up everyone in sight so that if they are stung they can say they did the right thing.

It's just the confusion surrounding the whole thing.

From what I have read which I admit is minimal. I believe the laws are written deliberately vaguely so that they can bust whomever they want, by making it close to impossible to comply with the law.

I would do what they ask, at least then you can throw the blame back on them in some small way.

"But officer I did what they asked of me"

or if it worries you move on.
