MCI, Sprint, a few telecom companies that no longer exist and 2 Mom and Pop telecom companies. I am still friends with people I worked with back in my first "real" job - 1985 with MCI and several from my next job starting a year later at Sprint attended my son's service.

Sure there are backstabbers, but dealing with them face to face 8 hours a day gives you more insight to which ones they are. A few posts on a board, a dinner here and there and it's harder to see through the shit.

I'm learning though - and being smarter and spending more time with my true friends from the past.
