Whats up with all the solo girl sites nowadays

Even the most ugly chicks get a site dedicated to them now...

I mean, you have lightspeed girls & ftvcash & teenrevenue chicks for example which are hot, but sometimes I see chicks have a site dedicated to them that normally would only be a member area filler.

I am not here to bash any sites directly, but what's up with this hype?

Although I agree some of the girls haven't been anything to write home about, the single girl market is about having a connection with the customers/fans. Maybe some of these average hunnies will be willing to ride it out a little longer instead of pulling the vanishing act that plagues 99% of this industry, and any industry dependant on young adults for work.

I guess in a 6 months we can revisting any of these new sites to see how they're doing.and see if there really is a market for solo girl outside of the ultra hot teen/ esablished single model site. I would say there is, since niches keep breaking off into sub niches. Pretty soon there will be sites devoted strictly to girls, for example "Asian, Strawberry blone hair, dark skin, 32/24/32. 5'0", no tattoos, wearing white outfits, , 19, with size 4 feet and blue painted nails (o.k., that's just my fetish )

I can say I've never considered any of the Lightspeed girls as amazingly beautiful, but that's just my opinion. Doing overture search on any of their names versus anyone outside of Jenna Jameson or Tera Patrick will quickly prove my taste out of the majority.

But I don't think these sites will make a substantional amount of cash, unless they are marketed like crazy. But the retention on the site would do well, provided the model sticks around and doesn't jump the shark.

Well ofcourse, you cannot judge somebody's taste, but the average guy finds the lightspeed girls for example very attractive. Or www.alexamodel.com for instance, one of my favorites.

And I think you are right about the retention. If somebody really likes a chick they see, I guess they might tend to stay around for a while.

solo girl is also an easier reality site to replicate. normal "reality" sites are based around new concepts, with solo girls, the girl is the concept. So take any girl you think can sell, and make it happen.

think its alot easier than coming up with new concepts, might have something to do with the abundance of Solo Girl sites.

Not the case really. The single girl market has been hot as hell since 2002 and most of the 2002 sites are still around and doing well. Sure, some drop off here and there, but its more because of the model then it is the site owner. Lots of flaky teen models you know.

I will agree its a "fad" for the "kids", with no budget to get into webmastering quick. Those, unless the girl is really special do fall of quick. No needs to worry on flaky models or running out of content. The site will retain forever with steady updates like that.

Anyways, the solo site surge of late is no fad with the exception of the webmasters throwing up 20 sets and never updating.... they will be gone very soon.

people are sheep and people look for the easiest route to riches. 90% of the single girl sites you see launched on GFY will do less than 5 sales a day.
Now if you have 20 sites X 5 sales a day - that works - but you better have
top notch girls or you won't get much traffic.

i haven't seen a star single girl site launched since Raven Riley - oh - and the one in my sig

Go run a few teen tgps and you will see how little there really still is out there. I run a couple teen solo site tgps as well as shoot teen solo site content. The market isnt even close to being saturated.

The list of good teen solo sites is still under 20-30. Run a tgp and you will see how few that is. I could be 4 times that.

I always thought a NN site should have a countdown to when she gets nude. Start it 6 months out and see if you can retain for 6 months. Is this the nude set? is this one? Even your biggest dork finds it hard to stare at the same chick for several months. My rebills reflect this.

The first porn sites on the net were solo girl sites, just called "amateur" back then. Carol Cox, Jen & Dave, Venus, Jenni Cam...they were the original single girl sites back in 1995/96. I'm surprised so many GFY webmasters think this is a new phenomenon.

At least the cookie cutter solo sites that are cropping up every day will probably do well to boost real amateur girl retention. Let's not confuse 'solo girl sites' with 'amateur sites'. NaughtyAllie, Sammy4u, VanillaDeville, Wifeysworld, BustyRachel, etc are in a class of their own!

RavenRiley and AshleyBrookes are also in the amateur category I think, since the girls are personally involved in the marketing and operation of their sites.

Ive been around since 99 and like many people have pointed out there are too many solo girl sites that are lacking in content at launch and that has a hugely negative effect on rebills as well as consumer confidence. A surfer who has been stung by signing up for a 30$ site for 10 sets will be more wary in future of buying further memberships to other sites. For this reason it annoys me when webmasters flock to the latest and greatest site which in many cases is little more than a pimp tour and a woefully lacking members area.

As far as my recommendations for other single girl sites I would say it doesnt get much better than Kates Playground. Matt has done an unbelievable job with this site and in fact all of the other sites in the spunkycash network. Huge amounts of content, excellent interaction and designs that are not only very easy to navigate but also visually appealing. Retention in general is good and excellent when compared with many other single girl sites.

There is also a demand from affiliates for single girl sites to promote, the girls are often hotter than the girls available on multimodel sites and so prove very popular with tgp webmasters AND submitters. A pretty face can make all the difference when it comes to getting a high ranking thumbnail.
