Actually historians through out the ages and including modern day all believe that Jesus did exist - the thing they argue with is whether he was the son of God or not. The existance of the Biblical Characters including Mary and Joseph and all of the deciples is not in doubt. Whether he had powers or was the son of God is upto you to decide.
