that's slow as fuck imho. people can go to google and get results in 1 second

I am aware that google is much faster but I believe that my engines produce better results as they are concentrated results.

I checked my results multiple times so I know what results I get. I was interested in what results others get, but thank you for the suggestion.

Indexes anyone :P Just depends on how the db is laid out, but I'd bet that it has something to do with some of the more important fields not having an index or type at all.

I just went on it, couldn't find a search box or anything. left straight away. no offense, but awful design.
and also, 3-14 secs is far too long. 2 secs at most on average is about the slowest you should aim for.
PS - why not just save all search speeds and take a look at the data yourself?

I have checked the search speeds mltiple times but I am certain that not everyone has the same speed modem as I.
