In your case, I could care less too. But do read the replies of those who wrote down what their banks charge for depositing (foreign currency) checks. Also take into account the time it takes for a check to arrive, then the time it takes for the bank to deposit the funds into your account. Actually, the fees for a $2K check (cashed in outside of the US) will hurt a lot less than the fees for a $50 check, which CCBill has as default payout limit, unless you ask them to increase that.
