I agree, its amazing the conclusions people jump to with very little to go on. The son remains calm the whole time and is willing to help, but just wants to be asked nicely. With what was shown, I don't see how you could call the kid a brat, he certainly didn't respond back to his mom like she was talking to him.

The only thing we know is the mom went completely nuts and the kid only asked her to say "please". According to the video along, the mom is a psycho headcase and the kid seems fairly reasonable. Of course, that could be totally wrong.

Either way, anybody who flips out like that has a screw loose and needs help regardless of who's "fault it was".

I found that to be very, very disturbing. Both because it's obvious that a 16 year old kid...no matter what kind of bravado face he puts on it...is being hurt by that behavior. And because the lady involved appears to be under some heavy duty stressors.

Its obvious that some of you dont have kids..disrespectful ones at that. That little episode was calm to some I have witnessed.. funny, the kids are the provokers and they sit around with their friends laughing while the parent is utterly distraught.. and being distraught like that really makes you lose your mind and say shit and do shit you wouldnt normally do under normal circumstances. Ok I just listened to the whole thing. Speaking as a parent I can certainly understand how kids can make you loose your mind sometimes. Then again, speaking as someone who still views his inner self as a kid I can relate to how angry parents can make you too. My opinion is that they are both wrong. Him for deceptively videotaping it and appearing to enjoy pushing her buttons and her for loosing all control of herself by letting him push her buttons. A very bad dynamic to say the least!

It's plain to see the kid was acting that way cause he knows how to push his mothers buttons and it's even easier when you have the camera going. No matter what the situation or circumstances you don't play your mother like that. He knows she has a temper and he just continued to throw logs on that fire. Teenagers are selfish and that kid showed it and for him not to care that his mom needed to go to work is really fucked up. What was really fucked up was when she told him to get out he went on to say " Yeah and if you do that I'll call child support". WHat kind of shit is that for a 16 yr old to say to his mother? SHe said it right when she called him a spoiled brat. That kid needs to be taught lessons on respect and doing for your mother instead of that bullshit cause when she's dead and gone he'll regret all this shit he's doing.
