I agree with sickkittens. The thrill of the hunt's gone.
I've felt that way for many years. I'm 32, and I've had maybe a handful of women I've truely loved. The rest all lose that 'spark' after I've slept with them, or played with them 2-3 times. Personally, imho, the problem's they give it up too easily. Those I've truely loved, I had to wait, put in the time, anwhere from 6 months, or more to get the 'goodies'. So I knew them as a person, and we were friends before lovers. So I respected them more, and there was that emotional connection that kept me coming back.
When a woman gives it up in a first or second meeting, and there is little foundation built beyond the physical, I lose interest in the game, or the hunt. Toe sucked, woman fucked, end of mission. Plus how well do you really know them? I mean, when you meet someone, and they make the foundation sex, foreplay, whatever and you hardly know them, there is nothing else there. I've met plenty, and they were cool chicks to hang out with, and all. Most of my ex's have no ill feelings towards me, but I too get disappointed as I feel no emotional commitment to them after the dead's been done.
The world's changed so much in the past decade or so. I remember in my younger years, you had to work for it more. You had to make those 'romance tapes', the flowers, and who her more, as well as wait awhile before you closed the deal. Today, atleast for me, women are more like the stereotyped male persona where they want sex almost as fast as a male. Hey, I guess they have needs too.
I guess the old cliche hold's true,.. "Why buy the cow when you can have the milk for free".
You know what ... at the point that I know I can have her... I'l often just ditch her there ... unless she's really good looking.

That makes alot of sense...thanks! I guess thats aon a subconscience level...
We don't live in a world of reality, we live in a world of perceptions.
i do not agree its about the wait, when its a little right the interest doesn't go on the first time, but after a while you know it, when its all wrong and you just sense it, the interest goes right away. What it does, the orgasm, is clarify how you feel. Its just sad sometimes, but your body and your senses know when it can work for more than a week. If we are truthful with ourselves, we always know.
Its what we choose to do with that knowledge that defines our lives. Eddie Murphy put it well once in the movie raw when he said, when you been waitin to eat foh 6 months and you eat a cracker, you go "GOT DAYUM DATS DUH BEST CRACKUH I EVAH ATE" AND THE NEXT TIME YOU THINK WAIT MAYBE THATS JUST A CRACKUH..
Time won't make it right, but at least you get to know someone and when you are young, like in your 20's, you don't know any better, but at least you are resillient. If you work in this biz sex is all around you,l have as much fun as you can and be safe.
I think it is possible for a girl to give it up early and retain my interest. But there has to be something more to her than good sex. If we bond apart from that usually it's a good thing that they like sex.
i say this a situational thing, sometimes waiting works the other way around. you wait and wait, then build it up in yr head,so when you finally hit it,its anti-climatic.. so it just depends..

Honestly, I think sleeping with someone too soon is the cause.
If you were to wait awhile for the tension to build with that same person things would be different. You'd have the beginnings of a friendship going. That way, if the sex wasn't all you thought it would be, you still have the friendship (which will result in better sex down the road). Even if sex with the stranger is great, that's still all you have. No friendship to fall back on afterwards.
Gettin' busy makes you vulnerable, in a way, to that other person. That's okay with friends but not with strangers.
I do not think just waiting equals my interest. It's the fact I know them, and know we are compatable, and more on the serious level of a foundation to build on. Those serious 'loves' I mentioned previously were more that I was just friends with them, and then as time went on, a romance came from it. I was not just sitting around making myself 'handy' waiting for them to give it up.
I knew them on the personal level, and in time, it grew to something more.
Stickman has a point as well about the number you sleep with. I have been around the block, or if you like, been to the puppet show, and seen the strings. So I can honestly say I've had a very good sample of what's out there.
In the past 5-8 years however, I have seen some of them women become every bit as aggresive as the stereotyped male. It could be because of my age being in my 30's versus some college/high school punk, who knows. But I can say that if the sex is served, or even offered w/i a few dates, I start to lose interest.
As mentioned before, as soon as the hunt's over... toes sucked, chickie fucked, game over.
That happens to me also , but I still keep them around. It is nice to have options. I never have to wait longer then the first night with anyone ( unless I meet them online) , then it is the 2nd night.
