Do you often use the same password?
If so, how would you feel if a certain company accidently has been sharing your username and password to 3rd parties. Would you rather allow the people to know, in case it applies to them? Or would you rather send it to the company and let them fix the problem, risking that they never would divulge the information regarding the issue?

I use different passwords for every resource that i register at. FormFiller remembers them all, i only need not to forget the master one.Comment

I use a pw system for yrs now
1. simple stuff no cred card details behind it etc - simple password
2. simple stuff bit more personal info on it - password with the sitename in it
3. really senstive info like banking etc - password that changes every month
