If you're looking for good prices, you can often get a bulk buy in depositphotos I think it was $10 for 100 downloads / no expiry. The stock site from themeforest you can buy one off for a good price, but they don't have a very big selection.Crazy fast VPS for $10 a month. Try with $20 free creditComment

istock is Getty's branch and is the leader, they have a bunch of excellent exclusive submitters. Also the most expensive
fotolia (now part of Adobe) and shutterstock have good amount of high quality content at reasonable prices and are both optimal choice
everyone else is declining. But at some of those places there's fine cheap content to grab. Oldish but fine. If you need a photo of red apple or of a model holding shopping bag it doesn't matter if it's from 10 years or 10 days agoComment

otherwise i shop at fotolia and dreamstime because we have submitter accounts there and there are always credits to spendComment
