Transferring Inbox Mails From One Computer To Another!

Anyone know an easy way of doing this?

Just got my new computer and I'm setting it all up, I wanna keep all my mails from my inbox in outlook express and transfer to my new computer.

    Any help is appreciated.

      In OE

      Click Tools.. then Options

      Then Click "Maintenance" tab

      Then Click "Store Folder"

This will then show you the location of your files. Copy that link and then paste it into Windows explorer and you should see all your folders as .dbx files

Just take those files, and then load them into your new one.

The best way to do this is to get "The Bat!" from www.ritlabs.com and then import all of your emails into it and then do a Backup from the Tools menu. Then, install The Bat! on your new computer and copy the backup over and do a restore. Not only will you avoid all of the 'problems' that are found in OE, but you will definitely have a better email client. It Rocks!

Ross, if you want a nice bit of software to do it for you ($39.95 price tag) then try this as it works a treat... http://www.outlook-express-backup.com

In fact the 30 day free trial version is pretty much as per the full version.

I just used the trial version. It only has two less features than the full one and happily I don't need any of those missing feautures.
