After grad school, I worked for a dot bomb then started doing webmaster work on the side. I've been a full-time webmaster for 5 years now.

I`m still in college studying to become an EE.
The question right now in my mind is if by the time I graduate and I`m making any money from webmastering (hopefully) , will I go work in my field of study?
I`ll say yes right now `cos I love what I study.Electricity and communications 0wn me.

I started in this biz just right after I graduated form college.. I'm still doing some architectural works for the same company but mostly I am their marketing agent.. I'm just fresh out from college.. lol.. lucky enough to be hired by my company

Same here, I'm a college grad of Information Technology... as of now, I worked for a company as a marketing agent...

i graduated from high school, then went to college for 2 months before i figured out that i hate school and i couldnt see myself doing that everyday for 4 more years.

HOWEVER, i do plan on going to the tech college down the street from me for a few internet/computer certification courses. i want to put my knowledge down on paper & be certified in something (that i love to do) in case i ever need to fall back on something. those courses are usually 3-8 months each, 1 day a week and only a few hundred bucks and they have evening classes. w00t w00t!

Started this 10 years after getting out of grad school. After only six months I am well on my way to earning as much doing this as I am in my "daytime" job. I think I will reach that goal within 1 year

yer never had another job I dropped out of Uni when I was like 22 and started doing my own thing online I was gonna go back but then I made too much money at this

I started by doing data entry/ graphics for www.bedroomsports.com at 17, but didn't officially make the move to LA and marketing brs until after I graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in "Internet Marketing"
