If you happen to pick up a good domain, and the name matches the needs of a buyer on GFY, then please post away. A good name is a good name, regardless of whether or not it was just registered.Comment

Here is my view for whatever it's not worth..
Some buyers of domains prefer to buy what others 'think up'.
Some don't have the time, or the many other factors involved, to go domain hunting and might buy a domain from someone that grabbed a catchy name, whether it be today, or 6 years ago.
There are many different levels to the domain game, and this is just one.
If they can buy and sell a domain within a short period and make money, I say go for it.
Just another business. They come and go(but I think they mostly go and make way for new 'fishermen')Comment

Well these day's it's fucking hard to catch up a good deleted domain. These backorder services and the contracts they have with domain registrars, it's a joke nowadays.
But if you are able to reg a top domain just expired (lucky you) then sure post it, why not.
On the other hand I do understand AdvertisingSex, some people have no clue what a good domain is.Comment

Now although most of the time I do also find it funny when people register a domain and 24 hours later put it up for sale for 10x the price, but SOMETIMES there is nothing wrong w/ this.
I register dozens of domains per week, and I even get some drops sometimes.
What do you say to someone who just picked up a drop? Say the domain had a website on it for 3 years, the owner let it drop and someone else picked it up...would you still flame someone for registering it and posting it for sale irght away? I don't think so...
How about when someome registers a domain and finds out its gets HUGE ammounts of traffic? This happened to me early in the year, I registered a poker domain that was getting 250+ uniques per day int he first 72 hours and earning $5 per day at sedo - I posted it for sale right away - would you flame me for that?Comment

If you reg'd a domain yesterday, there is probably a reason why it's available... rare cases excluded...but don't reg.. janesbigpussy.com and try to sell it here for low $X,XXX or you will get flamed.
I have now clarified myself, now get to posting some domains. I'm always buying well priced domains.
