    Ortiz VS Lidell... who's gonna take it?

    I know a lot of people think Lidell will wipe the floor with Tito but I'm not so sure...

                                              The only chance Tito has is to stick with a gameplan and get Chuck on his back. That's a big if though because Chuck's sprawl is amazing. I know Tito likes to say he lost the first fight because his pride caused him to try and stand with Chuck but in the first round he repeatedly tried to take Chuck down and was stuffed every time. Chuck's a pretty damn good wrestler himself and trains with the Cal Poly Slo team regularly. I personally like Tito but I thought he came damn close to losing his last fight with Forrest had it not been for the last minute takedown in round three. I wouldn't bet on Tito but if he can take this fight past the third round Chuck MIGHT gas...he hasn't been past the second round in quite some time.

                                                          Tito isn't the only one who has said something about chuck thumbing people in the eye. Randy Couture said something about it in a past ufc, I can't remember which one. But one thing is for sure Randy Couture isn't one to bullshit. Oh and there's plenty of gifs of the poke, looks pretty obvious. I'll see if I can find that gif.

                                                                                              True Liddell did get Ortiz with a thumb, but this is MMA not Dancing with the Stars. It happens when two men are throwing punches. In no way did it look like Chuck did it on purpose. It is true that a finger in opponants eye can end a fight very quickly for sure but thats all in the game. How many times have you seen a boxer accidentally throw a low blow despite knowing the rules say its wrong. In battle things happen. When two gladiators are throwing haymakers then you might just catch a thumb in the eye. I would say that Tito being forced to fight Liddell too soon after his injury was a much larger factor in Tito's loss.

                                                                                                  Well ya, it's going to happen sooner or later no doubt. But when something like that does happen the ref should break them up for at least a few seconds because it's against the rules. If there's a low blow like you saw with GSP and Matt Hughes the ref stops the fight for a few, he doesn't let the other guy move in for the kill. This isn't the IVC. ;)
