Yup, I have in the past. Its a bitch when it happens too since accounting has no idea what they're paying for if it doesn't matching account receivables. It's happened to two companies now, in one case they nearly overpaid by 100%.

about 4 years ago I got a check from a sponser that was too much. I should have gotten around $200 from them. They sent me a check for $20,200 I just about shit my pants. I hadn't checked my stats in a a few weeks so I thought I must have gotten the mother of all listings. when I check the stats I see that they are correct and I'm owed $200. So for a day I thought about cashing it and then sent the sponser an email. They gave me a number to call and I talked to them. It turns out they had just switched accounting companies and everything was all screwed up. so many got more than they should have and many got less than they should have. They said they had heard from all the people that got too little but that I was the only one that had contacted them about getting too much. To show their thanks they sent me a new check for the $200 I was owed and another $2K to say thanks.Comment

Back when I was a kid at my first job I got paid 2x's my normal weekly salary.
I notified the ofice manager and he filed the report to correct it.
It was never corrected and at the end of the year they told me not ot worry about it
