Update from us:
- Swamped with requests, and over a month ago we put up a temporary link with 85% of the ids'.
- Many customers are demanding model releases also. new or old law does not require this. I only provide releases with exclusive content. Over 4 years ago I did this and some wahooo sold the content as his to adult legal.
- We are actively keypunching in a database system to fully comply with the new law, unfortunately with over 5200 sets, about 4100 exclusive this is time consuming
- our exclusive customers have taken priority over folks that bought a $5 set on gfy 3 years ago. If you have a set that is one of the 15% that is not on my temporary link and it's driving you and me both crazy, pick any two sets to replace it.

PhotoGreggXXX, 2257 says you have to have both: model id and release. It's not enough to have just the model id.

there are more, I just cant rmember everyone I have emailed. most have not written back, a couple have saying they were going into hibernation untill this is over or some other bull.
we need a master list so people know who not to buy from in the future.

You need to re-read the statutes...

The only things required by the new regs are:
Model's LEGAL NAME
Model's AKAs
Model's PhotoID

NO Model's releases are required.

just a question: how do you tell that the girl was 18 at the day of shooting with just the IDs?

you might proof that she is 18 now - but when was the shooting and how old has she been at that day?

You are NOT required to get full model releases. You are only required to get 2257 page and 1 ID. THAT IS ALL.

As Gregg said, 2257 page and release are/ or should be 2 different docs. If you read the law, its actually illegal to put anything other that the 2257 doc and up to 2 IDs in the folder for that scene

You have to have a second ID if the first one does not have a recognizable photo of the performer.

Regarding the model releases...

"The Department rejects, however, two commenters' claims that the
Department does not have authority to require a date on the label in
the first instance. Although section 2257 does not explicitly require a
date on the label, the Attorney General has the statutory authority to
issue appropriate regulations to implement the section and has
determined that the purposes of the section cannot be accomplished
without such a date. There would be no way to determine whether a
performer is underage without knowing the date that the material was
produced or reproduced."
