The Mike South Curse.................

3 years ago, I made my first movie, Alternative Worldz: Atlanta XXX for Adam & Eve.

In the course of making friends with several folks living there (Jace, Tony, The Consumption Junction guys, etc.), I also got to know Mike South.

I was having a group discussion and started talking about by film making experiences when Mike said, ?Blah, Blah, Blah?. Talk to me about film making after you?re an AVN Award winner like me.

I had never been verbally bitch slapped like that in my adult life and have spent many hours praying that someday I may win an award so I could get this rotting, stinking Mike South albatross from around my neck, and once again walk proud amongst my fellow pornographers.

This year I?ve been nominated for 4 awards. Oh please Jesus and Santa, hear my wish????.

I have about 8 or 10 AVN awards maybe more I used to get them alot when I played the game, even got a Hall of Fame one. Then one day I shot an intro to one of my movies with me pissing on my awards, I have never got another one in more than 10 years. Honestly they are not worth the brown nosing you have to do to get one and Mike South is the sleaziest most self-opinionated shit bag to ever....... just make money and be happy

I like Mike - he is a genuine character but I appreciate that about him... however, I always kind of laugh when Mike takes so much credit for that award.

It was our idea for the series, our idea for the name, our bringing Mike up from amateur producer you never heard of to his own series based on our guidelines and some serious stumping by our always amazing publicist Stefanie.

He shot some decent amateur stuff but all that hoopla went to his head faster than the bullet that killed Jackson. Ask the superstar award winning director about what happened when he left us to work with Rob Black and Tom Byron... and he had to learn a bit of humility.

when I left homegrown I went to elegant angel where I worked for Greg Alves (Not Tom Byron and Rob Black) I had two very successful releases that made me more money each than all my homegrown releases COMBINED.

However when Greg left Elegant Patrick went into cost cutting mode and the offer I was made to stay at Elegant Angel wasn't worth it.

I never even considered going to extreme I never had any respect for Rob Black nor did I have any for Tom Byron who was nothing but Blacks bitch...Tommy should have owned Rob instead of the other way around....

And thats the way it was...

hey far-l you know me i dont take anything personally actually I spoke with Greg about going to Metro when he left Elegant, but I chose a different direction, in the long run it was the right decision.

I do give you guys credit for gettin me started I have always said you came back and said we want you to shoot a series based on your character and thats what I did.

Actually this whole thing is a bit overblown because as Ron well knows and as you do, while an AVN Award is a nice accolade.....it isn't worth anything monetarily and outside the biz its meaningless (even inside for the most part)

But to answer your question I have had LOTS of noms since leaving Homegrown...matter of fact almost everything I have released has copped a nom or two but thats all worthless...I learned quickly that the real money is on the net not the video end, and that is where I have cncentrated my efforts.

That's the funniest thing about all this, Jace, even if I win, I won't even be at the Awards this year because VCA/Hustler has opted not to give any of the directors who were nominated tickets to the event. Re: Mike, he's slandered me in the past, without even knowing me...so that's what I was referencing...literally having only met me at a party one time 5 years before he posted a bunch of bullshit about me. That leaves a bad taste...

well, here is a little hint....next time someone offers her time for a TFP shoot, don't pull them hours out of the way into the desert where they are trapped and can't really decide against it even if they wanted, and at least try and take semi decent shots......you basically drove her and sabrina out into the desert where they had no options whatsoever, all while they had previous engagements, then the pics that were taken were such crappy quality no one could use them

to this day she still talks about that idiot in vegas that took advantage of the situation....LOL....

oh, and wasn't it also you that told me that shooting with you for that TFP would give her an excellent shot at being featured in Xcitement Magazine? who you also said you were in a high position for.....when I asked around about you later, most people I asked at Xcitement laughed when I said your name and could not believe you would say something like that

it was years ago, and I hate hashing shit up that was so long ago, but I just couldn't bite my tongue anymore....she keeps bitching at me for it, even though it was years ago, so now I am relaying that bitch onto you.
