Like other people already mentioned, there are Fireworks that night in English Bay in downtown Vancouver. Downtown will be shit packed. At least 1 million people will be watching the fireworks from all over including boats, apartments and at the beaches. Afterwards, they all try and leave, it's complete caos usually.
