We do that via 2 x 30Amp circuits. You could also do 3 x 20Amp circuits but it requires a 3rd powerstrip.
We usually charge $1200 for a full locking cabinet w/ 2 x 30Amp circuits on UPS and Generator backed power
That is a relatively "high" price for a host based in Texas running *almost* pure cogent (and yes, I know your network doesn't necessarily have anything to do with colo prices on space and power, but sometimes hosts charge more for space/power when they charge less for bandwidth). I would expect to see ~$10.00 per amp of power in Texas (as many providers are charging) and closer to ~$500.00 -$700.00 per rack/cab per month. Of course, that all depends on the level of service included - if you are offering free reboots, basic remote hands, etc. that might actually be a very good price :P (Especially since you guys have been known to offer bandwidth at very low rates, albeit, cogent.)

Also, it completely depends on the type of server you are running. I bet I can stick ~30 Sun middle-range servers in a rack with 40amps of power but Dells and most "high-end" servers such as quad-core Xeons (especially the older cores) sure are power hungry monsters - even 60amps might not be enough in some cases.
