Domains get put on hold and canceled all the time. Just not everyone brings it to GFY, or even reads GFY....or even knows GFY exist

thats a convincing argument, but we dont know that all of those cases werent just as illegal.. I'm sure unlawfull practises happen all the time we aren't aware of, that doesnt exactly mean we should just fold when it happens to us right.. ? the shawinternet had/has a little more background.. and was later proven to be unlawfull by the registrar ( well that might be a stretch actually , im not sure if you could actually prove tucows was unlawfull to pull the domain )
And infact i would think the shaw case alone would be a worrysome tidbit and certainly not something we should hope for.. as the domain was pulled just because of an allegation , nothing to do with the law..
