I spend around 20 bucks on my first date I guess, some drinks here and there. Nothing fancy. Never take a girl out for dinner until it's like the 10th date, and even than I almost never paid her part of dinner. Never into all that "giving" on those first few dates, I make 'em prove themselves a little bit before spending.

It depends on venue. If it's dinner, movie, concert, whatever. I never really have thought of dates equated with dollars spent to get in their pants. I just roll with the punches, and see where it leads.
