    So I find out my OTHER grandma...

    Is moving closeby to where my parents live. She hasn't spoken to me or my sister in 10+ years so she would have no idea what we looked like if we were walking down the street and vice versa. She is moving there to be close to her OTHER grandkids before she croaks.

    So pathetic how BLOOD can ignore your existance. I find it completely ignorant. I mean sure 3 days... I can understand not talking. Sure, a month.. we get busy. 10 years? That's just silly.

          I have a Grandmother like this. She moved out west two weeks after my sister was born.

          Supposedly she's coming to visit this week and I think I'm going to have a few extra projects to tie me up this week.

                      I have a completely valid excuse - I don't EVER want to get to know her. I won't go to her funeral, because it would be like going to some strangers funeral. I don't know her.
