close to the strip i'd say maggianos for italian (go with family style dining you will NOT regreat it), the buffet at the rio (carnival or seafood), there's a ruths chris on paradise by the hardrock if you want a decent steak, theres also a pf changs on paradise for chinese which isn't bad at all, if you want some good munchies (tapas) check out firefly on paradise as well... real good
