Open your eyes for chrissakes - Slik had EVERY right to come a a public forum and post his questions and let off steam. DirectNIC and ZERO right to lock his domains then subsequently turn off his sites. DirectNIC are now quite simply blackmailing Slik - show us the goods or the light stays off.
I mean come on. What the frikkin hell gives a domain name registrar the right to hold domain names that they do not own to ransom??? If what has transpired is the truth, had Slik not vented his opinion here, his sites would have still been online. Since DirectNICs name has been taken publicly through the mud by exposing their Orwellian policies, they decided to switch off the lights on Slik's domains.

I will say that quite a lot of people whose names you'd recognize as leaders in the biz have profited from my contacts both in adult and non-adult
And most of those I've put them in contact with keep their names off the boards. At least one has never made a single post - doubt he reads them either.

From someone who is a complete newb in this industry - I think it is crazy that directinc did that when they had no authority to do so from the authorities. I feel that even though they were trying to clean up a few sites, as a business decision, it was the wrong one to make.

I just looked at my passport picture. 6.5 years ago. I don't even resemble myself Though Colin and I were flying together for the YNOT Jamaica trip a couple of years ago and he had the opposite "problem" - had lost about 100 pounds! I personally would NOT have let him in, lol.

Why would anyone support Directnic in this case.. It's clear that if the sites are now back up, nothing was illegal on them. So that means DirectNic jumped the gun and put slicks livelihood in jeopardy.
