Sure, Nintendo is making innovations, still, but that doesn't mean that they're any good. If they came out with a controller shaped like a basket ball which people could throw around their rooms to control a little image of a basketball on their TV - everyone would rush to buy it. But they'd only do it because everyone is doing it - not because it's an 'innovation'...
