    Adult Anti-Pirating Consortium (NOT about Chio)

    I was reading another thread about a purported pirate site and it made me wonder why the adult online industry isn't doing more as a group to stop pirate sites.

    Honestly, I'm surprised that the top sponsor programs don't unite and form an anti-pirating consortium, and then together sue the people that rip off content, trade passwords, etc, and either put them out of business, or at the very least, make it difficult for them to operate their illegal business.

    It would probably cost a fraction of the amount spent on advertising and trade shows, and could result in more profits for all of the legitimate businesses.

          I noticed you've been laying low. I'm just finishing last night's work (8am PST), before heading off to bed so that I can watch the Finals of the RCA Tennis Tournament this afternoon (Roddick did a meltdown over a line-call in the Semi-Finals and lost...good thing there are no line calls in picture tennis, LOL).

          Maybe Sunday night for the picture tennis. Pick a time...

          Regarding the pirating issue, I shoot off Cease and Desist notices and contact ISP's, etc, which is about all I can manage as a one-person show, however the big guns should be able to do better, especially if they made a concerted group effort. Such a group could help pave the way for further cooperation and strength as an industry.

                      There is an increased awareness of pirating in the adult industry and I expect it will be addressed in the not too distant future by the "powers that be". If I was a content pirate, dvd ripper, or password swap site, I'd get out of business now......
