I bought the PS3 for my son, and think I'm going to wind up keeping it.....lol. What I like most about the PS3 is it's like like have a mini pc, plus it comes with blue ray DVD player (which alone is like $1,000.00) the games are awesome, the controls are wireless(they don't need batteries) overall the wii keeps you more active,but I think the PS3 is better.
