I've been captivated by the frosty zen that is a snowdrenched mountainside. The crunch of snow packing underfoot, crystal breath hovering before my face seconds before carving heelside down a slope. I've tasted the Ambrosia, and I need an IV.
Do you know what I mean?
I want to experience so much more of the frosty outdoors. It's like there's an entire heart-pounding life that I've been missing out on, and I'm ready to strap in.

Thanks Cheshire, I know EXACTLY what you mean and now I don't feel so weird for loving it so much. I've been skiing since I was a kid and I've gone snowboarding 3 to 5 times a week ever since I moved to Lake Tahoe 5 years ago to become a ski bum. My whole family thinks I'm crazy for living up in the middle of nowhere and are trying to talk some *sense* into me! They'd rather be shopping and dealing with the city life but personally, I just love the fresh air, the views, the exercise and mostly the adrenaline rush!!
Too bad I missed ya, maybe next time you can come hit up the mountains in south lake...btw, you ain't seen powder yet...you just wait till you start surfing and carving on three feet of powder and you'll truly feel the addiction!
