Thousands????For the price of the bombs we drop on countries we don't have any business invading, thousands of people could be fed.

We spent more than $9 Billion on that one day alone. It's the single largest shopping day of the year here.Last edited by Donny; 12-12-2006, 02:00 PM.Comment

Please find me those missles. Maybe you are thinking of the shells fired. Actual missles cost a hell of a lot more.
Um are you aware of how much it would cost in reality to make the worlds water supply safe? 9 billion would not even touch much of it. Nor cover the maintenance costs of such systems that if they are not ran correctly at all times are in effect useless. Then that of course would only work in areas that got their water from tap.
If you hinting at trying to control, stop, or destroy the vectors that give people assorted and often deadly parasites. That would be even more futile unless everyone is also willing to drain and or clean every swamp, river, lake, pond, and then some. Then we would have to deal with the assortment of current hosts that the vectors could revisit.Comment

Yes looks like the church is converting you more and more everyday.
Want to talk about greedy. How about the catholic church, which owns more property and worth more then any company in the world.
how much did they spend on the starving children.
We waste drinking water? other then a few states in the US I don't think water is a "resource" that is in short supply. so if I let my hose run all day and children in Africa don't have water to drink, this makes me a bad person ?
STFU or get your head out of the church's ass and try to think a little clearer.ICQ: 86364801 Email: will [at] innovativeassets [dot] com

I think, perhaps, next time you should read for comprehension. In no place did I say we waste water. And I wasn't siding with churches, either. In fact, I was speaking out against churches for not doing what they claim to do: being "like Christ".
Had you taken the time to read, you would have seen me saying some very similar things to what you just said.
Did you even read what I wrote, or are you simply responding to what others have written here? That sure looks like the case to me.
Clue: read first. Type later.Last edited by Donny; 12-12-2006, 07:18 PM.Comment

I did. I read this much then stopped:
After that i was sick of hearing this same old shit and dropped down to your blog comments by others which was more sickening shit.Originally posted by DonnyTheReligiousOneDid you know that the day after Thanksgiving, Americans spent enough money on that one day alone to provide safe drinking water for the entire world?
I could list off statistic after statistic that shows how greedy we are. We consume more resources than dozens of the world's countries combined, and we're never satisfied. We're always searching for ways to make more money so that we can consume more of the world's resources (I made "the world" bold because that's who said resources belong to).ICQ: 86364801 Email: will [at] innovativeassets [dot] com

lol donny seems to have changed his opening little eye opener from
"Did you know that the day after Thanksgiving Americans spent enough in that one day to treat the water supply of the entire world and make it safe to drink?"
to
"Did you know that the day after Thanksgiving, Americans spent enough money on that one day alone to provide safe drinking water for the entire world?"
its still a statement pulled out his ass.Comment

I think you've made some good points. I dated a girl who was religous and would make me go with her to this church in the wealthier North Suburbs of Chicago. It amazed me how much money was put into this church. It was a huge building, had comfy reclining seats, big auditorium, huge stage with speaker systems and so on throughout the auditorium. In other areas of the building were fancy paintings, sculptures and it was a truly impressive place to be.
But it hits you that there is millions of dollars being put into this. Would it not be better to have more modest settings and use that money for other purposes? It is amazing to see some of the facilities that churches are building these days.Comment

Classic GFY!
Watching pornographers commenting on religion and trying to present a case - too damned funny. Tolerance is wonderful eh?
Ironic that the same pornographers would be screaming their mouths off about free speech if a cop told them to shut the fuck up.
PS OR.... Maybe a different reaction with cops - odds are they'd be pissing their frilly panties instead. It's an adult net biz trend to get pissy pants with law enforcement around - friggin amateurs
