We had "short traditional" (one screen) and "long traditional designs" (more than one screen) and i think reality site design are over as well ... so, whats coming next? I usually do reality style design, but i see that conversion are getting worser and worser. Maybe site design like mrskin are the next step? portal design ... discuss

I still think trailers are in their infancy in this industry. You've got a few guys doing good ones with actual knowledge on the subject like say RedShoe, but you can count them on one hand.Originally posted by mcmc
Until trailers get to true Hollywood-pro levels of anticipationa and buildup, I don't think we need to go to the extreme level you mentioned above.
There's a big difference between the typical "20-seconds uncut of one position and no editing" that most sites use as trailers, versus a 30-second pro-edited with music overlay and quick cuts trailer done by an expert. Most people just don't want to pay to have it done right.Comment
