The police had been following him since yesterday.............. they dont follow people for no good reason. They tried to stop him oustide the station........ he ran inside and down to the platforms and onto a train............... he ignored multiple warnings to stop........... they feared he was about to detonate something under his jacket.........

From what I heard on the news he left a house that was under observation in connection with the events yesterday, they followed him and as he entered the station they confrontent him (obviouly the didn't want to let him go into the tube station with out giving him a once over) and he ran from them, jumped over a barrier and down onto the train.... sounds like they had all reason to belive he was a threat to life in that situation and acted in the correct manner.

I really think we ought to withhold judgement until they finish editing the tube videos ....ooops I mean finish the investigation into this and give us an official report on what really happened instead of relying on eyewitness accounts - we all know how wrong people standing next to an event can be compared to what the officials know - they're professionals
