They likely knew where all the cameras were before this event. The US seems a bit relaxed and they seem to be putting it in our faces and taunting us.

Just my interpretation however. You can likely read into a dozen ways.

I would say that it did. No doubt they need to appear as if they fit in, but that was methodical. They knew where the location of the cameras were and they new it would make the news.

London is camera loaded, everyone knows that.

He was sending a message. Whether that message was "communication" based or just their way of being bold, we may never fully know.

I don't see how cameras in public places could possibly be interpreted as invasion of privacy! Simply because of the fact that you don't have privacy in public (the words contradict each other).

Suicide bombers don't care if they are filmed since they are going to die anyway, but in this case they failed and the cameras sure came in handy, I think it was what got them on to the guy they shot on the underground this morning.
And besides they are a great deterrent for all sorts of other crimes.

yup..who hasn't looked into those and seen yourself on them. Heck..true story time? A couple years ago I was getting all smoocy with someone in the corner of a platform at London Bridge underground (Northern Line Branch). He got a bit excited and slipped his hand up my shirt. The font looks the same to me.

for sure the font is the same but that first letter looks like a T and the third a U but who know what speed he was running at and if it is just blurry.
