What I would like to know is this.

Storage prices have come down.
CPU prices have come down.
Network Connectivity has come down.
They recently got bought out by EIG and now have more economy of scale.

How the fuck do prices rise due to rising costs ?

Used them many many years ago for reseller hosting. Shit was overloaded way back then. Always had to email or call and say shit's at a crawl and then they would boot the overloading user. So honestly thought they sucked even before the buyout.

You can host a few sites on a much better quality network for $5 a month and scale up as you need to.
