My Home Town Stinks
Firefighters are dealing with lorries on fire at an animal rendering factory in Cumbria.
The service was called to the Alba Proteins plant on the outskirts of Penrith on Monday morning.
They arrived to find five articulated trailers carrying animal offal already well alight.
Six appliances from Lazonby, Shap and Patterdale, together with a turntable ladder from Carlisle, remain on use at the scene.

Thankfully, the smell has not got into the building, but the whole town smells of burning animal bits
Seems pretty strange that five trailers were on fire... maybe arson?
