I can't use PayPal on my site because I have adult material but Rapidshare and all these other free hosts with adult material can use them... Am I missing something here????

Rapidshare is used for alot of adult material, but not an adult site, it's a mainstream service by the book, so paypal probably tolerates it, because it's nice business for them.
They dropped adult for the same reason amex dropped adult: Too many complaints...and I'd bet they would kick rapidshare the day it starts making them problems. -

I do not feel it was dropped due to amount of complaints. Auctions and other stuff have much more fraud and complaints than adult material does.
I know paypal went from very adult friendly to downright spiteful once mainstream media outlets kept showing their logos and billing options every time they investigated or did a story on those "model" sites.
Paypal did not want to attempt to police each and every site, and they needed to clear their name due to all that underage crap.Comment

OK, here's my favorite Paypal story:
I have a Paypal credit card through WAMU to use to make Paypal payments with. It has a $5K limit. I tried to send someone $750 recently and PP said since I wasn't "verified", I couldn't do it. I've always refused to give them my bank account number to get "verified".
BUT I could apply for ANOTHER Paypal credit card and send up to $1000.
Within 3 minutes I had a 2nd Paypal card with a $3K credit, I make the payment and cancel the original card the next day. And NOW I'm verified, lol.Comment
