Fucking Bitch gets $60 on food stamps then pulls out $100 bill to pay $2 for non-food

I'm in the express line (10 items or less) and of course some bitch is up there with more than 10 items holding up the line.
I wait a while then I here her debating something with the cashier.
I'm like "hurry up cheap bitch, my 40 is getting warm". Then I figure out the debate.

She owes the cashier $2 for q-tips which the cashier says "you can't pay for those with food stamps".

After all that haggling over $2, she pulls out a $100 bill to pay the $2.

I just had to think about why this bitch with a $100 bill needs fucking food stamps.

Then I thought about something else...the typical complaints about blacks on welfare and food stamps. I have yet to see any black people with food stamps here. I ony see white women and micronesians with food stamps while niggas are driving H2 Hummers.

i used to work in a grocery store for years bro, you'd be surprised how many are on welfare just to 'cheat the system' so to say.

i remember bringing out groceries that a black family paid for with food stamps and they walked outside to their NEW LEXUS and I loaded their groceries into the trunk. I've heard stories about people selling their food stamp card for drug money or alcohol/cigarette money since you cannot purchase those items with foodstamps.

from what i've seen its usually fat disgusting lower class white trash and lower class black people with food stamp cards.

I even saw the wife of a football coach that taught at the highschool I went whip out a foodstamp card.

Maybe that $100 was half of her weekly pay. I'd say you're quick to judge.

But please don't get me wrong. Do I blame you for hating on people that use welfare? No, I don't. I don't think the government should bail out all these gluttons with the tax money I pay. If somebody honestly hit a stroke of bad luck & had extreme financial trouble I can see why welfare would help them out for 30 days or so. Anything more than that is uncalled for unless you have a severe mental or psychial disability preventing you from work.

just for the sake of arguement, maybe she had just gotten her paycheck for the last two weeks and it was only 200 dollars, and that was half of it?

but i agree, the welfare is abused in alot of cases, and then people who need it get the run around.

a person i know who has just beat cancer, and finally started school again, and is working as much as possible has been getting fucked with over getting just food stamps.

he's not interested in any of the other benifits, just three months of fucking food stamps to help him get back on his feet, and he is getting shit on at the welfare office. the case officer was asking all kinds of personal questions that are apperently illegal to ask, not returning my friends calls, and just generally being a douche. it's fucking terrible, this guy is middle aged, and just got over a 3 year battle with fucking cancer, and he can't just get some food stamps for 3 months?

it would be a different story if he was a women with 14 kids and no schooling, job, or care about bettering themselves though. case workers would bend over backward.

i also hate to catagorically stick the abuse with black people too, because there are plenty of white trash people in trailers and ghettos popping out children for the sake of welfare money.

ok, that is my rant.

I was in the pharmacy behind a lady refusing to pay $10 for her daughter's precription instead of the $2 she would have paid if the doctor had written it for a slightly different medication and it would have been covered under Medicaid. So she walked out the door, got in her Cadillac and drove off. Moron.

when in was 17 i was on welfare and we got 600 a month in food stamps.... i used to trade them in for 50 cents on the dollar in cash and then go steal the food and buy drugs with the food stamp money

life was grand back then

but it is given tot hem by the government to pay for the 12 mentaly retardted foster kids that that they take care of each month

Welfare programs are not without their problems, and you will always have people taking advantage of any system, be it food stamps or their 1040 tax form. There is no denying though that food stamps help more needy folks than cheats, and focus should be made on addressing the cheats than talking about taking food out the mouths of the truly poor.

One thing to consider if you are wealthy. Public assistance should be looked at like cheap insurance to maintain the stability of the system that has allowed you to prosper. Put people in a situation where they cannot feed themselves or put shelter over the heads of their family and you have the recipe for civil unrest. Don't think we are above having mobs running through the streets of your gated communities, it could happen.

I have been on both sides of the food stamp story. I have been in the position of paying the government 40k$/year in taxes bitching about why I gotta take care of all these wothless bums, and I have been one of the people using food stamps after some health problems where I couldnt work for an extended period of time and lost my entire online business because of it. My wife was the one that used the card because I was too ashamed. I guess not all people are like my wife and I when we were on that shit, we knew it was just something to get us thru a very hard time and wanted off as soon as fucking possible. I am sure alot of people gave us some what the fuck looks when they saw us with food stamps since we own a half way decent house, drive a nicer Ford Explorer. While I am sure there are many people that are in the same boat we were in, I know damn well there are 20x more peple abusing welfare than there are using it for what its meant for. But without it, what the fuck are you gonna do?? Well little kid, your mom is a fuckwit and your daddy is an abusive drunk drug addict who spends all his money on smack and booze so you gotta starve to death. There needs to be some kind of system set up to watch these people that have been on welfare for more than 2 years, maybe once you hit the 2 year mark, they oughta force you to go to some kind of counselor for an intervention, if your clearly abusing the system take their kids away from them for being an unfit parent and tell them tough shit, let them people starve to death on the streets. If they are mentally and physically disabled, or if they truely are making an effort to better themselves let them continue and have another session with them in 2 years or so.

There was a time that people on welfare were still required to work.. Whether it be cleaning up parks, building bridges or whatever...

I think it was Truman that said that these folks will show up for work even if all they do is lean on a shovel handle..

But nowadays they're just encouraged to have more kids because they know the check increases with each one... Then these kids grow up with their lazy assed parents and see they can get through life without working, so they go the welfare route too....

Not all... but tons!!....

I live in a small rural town that has 2 gov't subsidized apartment complexes that stay full.. "Hey .. move in here and we'll pay your rent and utilities".... definitely an incentive there to get off welfare.......

Down here they get a food credit card every month I am on the northside welfare is on the eastside on the 1st of the month I take my happy ass to to quickeMART on the eastside and buy these welfare cards for $50 each from crack heads getting $200 - $400 worth of food on the cards I make some pretty good bank off them for friends and shit I always got food!

Here in Florida, you have a limit on how long you can get benefits, and you are required to register for child support enforcement if the father is absent, and you are required to work or go to school in order to receive most forms of help.

Personally, I think instead of food stamps and cash assistance, the people with children should receive free day care so they can work-just for say, the first 3-6 months until they get on their feet, because that is the thing I struggled with the most when I was trying to get on my feet. I wanted to work, but without an income, I couldn't put my kids in day care, and without daycare, I couldn't get an income...which is how I wound up in adult, really.

You are being very judgemental to freak out over $2 spent on Q-tips though. I could see if she just bought speakers for her car, or $20 makeup, or something like that....

When I was working as a Pharmacy tech assistant before I went to college, I would always see A LOT of people pay for their meds with MediCal then drive off in a Mercedes or BMW. Maybe if MediCal devoted 10% of its budget to fighting fraud, it can cut 50% of its costs.
