From this post it seems as though alot of you think that just because someone has traffic they can do what they want. The bottom line is this. The guy who runs madthumbs.com is violating this girls copyright.

Do you honestly think that he is not liable?

If you check Freeones board they are strict on copyright and acknowledge that people do own the rights to pictures http://board.freeones.com/announcement.php?f=4

If you run a forum you cannot allow people to post complete members sections on it. You must alos respond to cease and desist orders within 24 hours not ignore them for over 10 months.

exactly. he is facing criminal and civil liability for this.

once he was made aware of her copyrights, he is legally required to remove the offending content.

i can't believe a person with anything to lose would ignore this.

When one of the chat spammers ripped my entire page all of his circle on here made a similar fuss. "It's a simple page, would take 4 minutes to make so who cares". I fucking care and if you read the law on how much money one can get for copyright infringement you would care too.

Yep, and every penny he makes from that is tainted because he didn't earn it by playing by the rules. I guess there is a lot of money out there if you're willing to risk prison time.
