Well, if she's like alot of brick and mortar (mom and pop) operations she probably can't afford an attorney. So, he's probably got nothing to worry about.

Well I took a visit to the Madthumbs Chat area. I wasn't exactly thrilled with what I foiund but I was not surprised.
My suggestion to MadThumbs would be to get some type of moderation going over there. Other than the mass amount of images posted from some peoples members sections, There is a fair amount of password swapping being solicited.
I know people will share passwords, and people should have security blah blah blah. But some proper and enforced forum rules over there might go a good way in training your visitors.
My suggestion for GfY posters would be to stop bullshitting here and high tail it over there. All these pics and NO links to the girls sites? Post some links, get your wm codes in there. Bet it pays more than sig money.
There has to be some middle ground. If pics are posted, it would be nice if a clickable link to the site that holds the copyright or license be required. That and deletion of password trading threads and it wouldn't bother me quite as much.
Chances are Madthumbs could set up autolinking so when someone types Lightspeed or Karups it turns the word into a link to the site. Prolly make a couple of bucks and possibly keep the copyright holders happy.

I don't know anyone at MadThumbs and I don't know if they have thought of this...
I'm sure that if posting pics on the board were only open to webmasters and web girls this would avoid the whole problem. That way surfers could still enjoy the pics and webmasters and web girls could place a link. Heck even affilaites could post content they have permission to post with their affiliate link. Turn it into a pic post. Do not allow surfer submitted pics. Not sure if it's doable or not. Just an idea.
I know we'd like a piece of that traffic.
Or better yet, MadThumbs can sign up for all of our affiliate programs and hire some one to post pics. But definately no surfer submitted pics without permission of the copyright holder.Comment
