I joined GFY so that I could speak in defence of Howard Cohen and Paymonde.
When Paymonde went out of business and I read all the negative comments in this and other forums I was resigned to losing the $1300 Paymonde owed me.
However, I mailed Howard Cohen (more in hope than expectation) to ask if I could expect to receive any part of my money. I got a reply within a few hours and shortly after Howard told me he would make an immediate payment to me. Within 2 days, $400+ was paid into my bank account and Howard tells me he will pay me the balance within a few weeks. I'm confident he will honour this undertaking.
It's plain to me that Howard Cohen is an honest and honourable man who is doing his best to meet his obligations to webmasters. He certainly doesn't deserve the defamation and abuse he's been subjected to in GFY
