lmao... for all the graphics people I'm surprised nobody has answered yet. It's the same way that somebody pulled the nudes from Cat Schwartz croppings of TechTV fame LOL. It's because photoshop stores a small preview image in the jpeg data... that's one of the main reasons I make sure to strip the useless data from the jpeg file before I upload it.

lol, I knew that but for some reason I thought it was a resizing trick too...
FYI Canon RAW files actually have 3 versions of the same image embedded in them (thumb jpeg, medium jpeg, raw data). It's not uncommon for people to complain that they can 'see' an image in the folder, but their graphics prog refuses to open it because the raw data is corrupt.Comment
