No it has to be approved first and the URL is registered. It also causes a $5 deduction in their payout...

Looks good. Just a suggestion. Look what sites belong in what catagory, and don't let the designer/webmaster handle that.

Based on? When we had a 3rd party billing solution you're at the mercy of them, we run our own merchant account now, you can see the credit card auth rate, no one has offered this to you before. With this info you can see who's to blame for the surfer not signing up.

i had MULTIPLE BYOTS, had gallery templates for people to use, 50+ banners designed etc...

program closed all the work wasted.

sorry but ill pass, these programs that close one thi8ng and open another piss me off.

you shit on old affiliates who took the time to have tours designed, with tons of promo etc then its useless.

sorry but i couldnt hold my breath.

when i see multple tours, and hundreds of banners etc become useless, i doubt ill waste that time and money again.

Not to mention the cash from people promoting it

I'm sorry you feel this way about the first BYOT program, being the originator in a field always leads to problems and over time we've had the chance to iron everything out and build a stable secure system that is going to last for years to come. In addition webmasters are paid $100 for initial tour designs so it's not like you'll be doing pro-bono work even if your tours are not promoted.

i dont waste my time with companies that burn me once.

had greenguy promoting my BYOTs sending traffic, next thing i know its dead.

i move on, i dont suck dick to try and get $50.

and $100 for a design? gimme a break, i had 10 times that in gallery templates made for people (other than me) to use - not to count the promo work.

anyway, just a clear warning to stay away. my time is worth way more than chasing down companies who pull rugs from under you.

ill bring my BYOTs elsewhere, i just had to speak my mind

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

That is correct ARS has lived and learned!

At the time, the problem wasn?t the tours. The problem was our partnerships and the billing company processing for us. We could not continue to process those sites anymore and had to shut them down in order to continue operation of ARS. If any of you faced the same decision you would have done the same. One option was to just shut down entirely, but knowing we wanted to bring a successful product to our webmasters, we had to make a very tough decision, but we dug in for our webmasters and took the heat. ARS had paid out multi millions to our webmasters and we wanted to continue to do that.

We came up with a solution that we felt would payout as much as the paysites to cover the gap. Unfortunately it did not go as well as we had planned. With our foots in our mouth we have certainly learned our lesson. We rebuilt from the ground up, using our OWN merchant account, and our OWN content. Then we added it to our already great webmaster system. We did what it took to remain in business throughout a poor situation. We know it wasn?t perfect, but this new BYOT program is.

We spent over $1.3 million dollars on domains and content to give you this new product that totally rocks. We have no intention of shutting this new BYOT program down. We have taken the steps to ensure its longevity. We would have not made such an investment unless we were sure it could thrive.

I understand that some of you can be upset about the old BYOT program shutting down. I would be too. But we have learned from that, and now put 100% back into a product that will make everyone happy, and this time we are in total control of the product.
I have total confidence in this product, and I know we can earn your trust back, ARS is solid again, and the past far behind us. Some of you seem a bit overboard a situation that is far behind us. All I ask is for a second chance from you nay-sayers, its time to make some serious money again, and you know it was ARS in the past doing it for you. We will always continue to listen to our webmasters and give 100% support throughout the years. ARS has always been about More Service, More Trust, More Money.

I already designed tours for BYOT 1, then for CHAMPS. All i can say is that you cant compare those old systems with the new one. The new byot system is way more complex, has a huge member area, some of the best content you can find on the web and tons of bonus stuff. Surfers will be happy, so will be ARS. This Byot system will be here for a long time.

Webmasters made money with BYOT1, made money with CHAMPS and will make money with BYOT2.

The biggest problem with the first BYOT was the lack of control of the content used to create the tour. That lead to major inconsistencies from tour to members areas.

We've solved those problems, made the system very streamline and intuitive, while offering a better product to the surfers. Also, we invested $250,000 in the domain name SMUT.com to brand the program / tours. Webmasters designing for BYOT get all their type in money if a surfer joins their site from smut.com

As it has been stated before, we do apologize for the tough decisions we had to make in the past and even after those decisions we were still a dominent player in the biz getting multi million uniques / mo. We are going to agressively grow the business to levels never before seen. What does this mean for our affiliates (current and future)? It means killer payouts, the highest level of support possible, and great money making products

Thankfully, all I have to do is put up and take down premade banners so I can forgive em. but if I did all that shit, I'd be mega pissed and unforgiving.
