A couple of days have passed since his posts, so I though it would be a nice quiet time to tell my side of the story. As everyone knows, Amp was a freelance designer until he joined the Adult.com team full time. He designed dozens of great sites, such as BigSausagePizza.com - which he took my idea and site name, and made it totally funny and compelling like it should be.
I won't bore you with all the work details, but suffice to say that we liked working together, and I considered him a friend. Sometimes he would get into it with someone here, or have some personal issues to sort out, but I was supportive.
So when I got an email saying he was quitting and got another job, I felt like guy whose girlfriend had left him. After that point, I didn't want anything to do with him. Now looking at it from his end, he probably felt like we were friends before he worked here, and after I was treating him like an outcast. That was my mistake, it was a kneejerk reaction to his quitting.
That's it. I hope it clears the air with Amp, if it doesn't, I will be glad to discuss it with him, either over email or right here. I am unbanning his main nick, so he can respond if he wants or otherwise get back to normal posting (and let's not pick fights with the guy, OK).
