i used to have netflix and at first they were awesome, but like bitaudiovideo had mentioned above, if you get a ton of movies every month, they slow down your service. i used to get movies really fast, and loved it.. but once they noticed that i was returning my movies so quickly, they started to take forever to send the next movie(s) on my list. not cool, and not what i paid for. "we rush you dvds from your list" and "Our 41 shipping centers across the United States allow us to provide nearly 90% of our members with delivery of their DVDs within about one business day following shipment" (both quotes from their website) my ass! at first i got them in about one business day, then it started taking like THREE business days, yet i was paying the same price as i was for the previously "rushed" and speedy shipping.
this is also bs: "On our most popular plan, the 3-at-a-time plan, you can rent UNLIMITED DVDs and exchange DVDs you've watched for new ones as often as you like." because they definitely prohibited me from getting as many movies as i was getting per month in the past with them once they noticed my high volume, so in essence they are pretty much limiting you.
because of that lawsuit mentioned above, i think i get a free month as compensation.. but i haven't heard from them as to when this free month is going to be.
the other cool thing about them (before they were slowing down my service) was that they also had work out videos, television shows on dvd, etc.. something for everybody. i loved browsing their movie list and finding movies and tv shows that i had totally forgotten about. it was nice to watch them again.
