Our clients comprise advocates for causes including the environment, animal rights, labor, religion, Native American rights, fair trade, grassroots politics, peace, social justice, nuclear disarmament, human rights and civil liberties. When the FBI invades the privacy of political and religious groups in the name of fighting terrorism, it abuses our trust and freedom.

This was orginally done in the late 60's under nixon & the crew to cause the internal breakup of organizations from paranoia. Once they've achieved their goal they let the information leak out & a law is passed to prevent it. Then another one like the patriot act is passed to deactivate it.

Its a tactic that has been used successfully forever. Even the ACLU has spies within their organization, in fact, who's to say that's not who released this report?

See how effective it is now?

It requires almost 0 manpower, because every organization believes they have a mole, & so they destroy themselves from the inside out.

i don't think it is neccesary to keep a population in line with fear. obviously it is highly effective.

pr0 is right it's been going on for years.

I knew someone that worked for them (FBI) in 1970-71 when I was in Denver. They worked as a spy.. They have spies spying on spies spying spies. It's crazy but they use to pay pretty good don't know about now.

they talked her into going to for them 2 infiltrate a radical group. I made her quit when that group or another one tried to blow up the State Captial building.

Its not just ACLU, they claim to have 2,383 pages about Greenpeace, which means they most likely have info on every person who has ever donated money to them. They also are keeping tabs on people of other environmental and advocacy groups. Meanwhile they let the christian and other rightwing nut groups slide through the cracks when it is those that are the most dangerous groups in this country.
