no he hasnt becuase he fled to france and hasnt stepped foot in a country that would extradite him since

He was convicted of the statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl and fled to Europe to escape incarceration. Yet....

He was given an Academy Award in 2002 for The Pianist (2002) five months after the awards ceremony. Harrison Ford, his friend, flew out to France to present Polanski the award, since the director can't set foot on US soil for fear of being arrested on rape charges.

The Pianist was an excellent movie. Famous writer Edgar Allen Poe married his 13 year old cousin. Guess its a sign of sucess.
