I'm only posting this thread now because I see Airek is also looking into talent for his party for January 2006. I wanted to give a little heads up on the possible artists. Incase Airek is also thinking some of the same talents, I'd hate to have someone think I copied what he's thinking of. I didn't read his thread because of that.
On that note, here's some likely talents you might see.
Rap Artists
Snoop Dogg (depends on if a potenial sponsor throws down what they said they would, so I won't say for sure until I get deposit money. Snoop has help that time period for me)
Jay-Z (also likely, not holding dates yet, but he's int he running)
LL Cool J (If I don't have one huge main sponsor and I decide to have 3 main sponsors like last year, this is extremely likely. And we've been in touch with his people)
Ludacris (Also on my list of rappers, things just depend on if the other artists are available and how much I can raise)
Eminem (not very likely, but I'm always trying incase I get lucky)
50 Cent and G Unit (one of my top choices, but also depends on money and who's available)
Non Rap Artists (Rock, Funk, etc)
George Clinton and P-Funk (always one of my top choices, I'd have them if I couldn't raise as much as I need for the top rappers)
Kid Rock (a top choice for sure, depends on if he's available and for how much. But I do have good contacts for that and it's realistic. He's probably Snoop Dog money)
Metallica (I can dream... Not sure if it's possible and for how much but I can offer them something if they'll take it)
Nine Inch Nails (old friends of the Money Brothers)
Those are all possible main artists, of course I usually have opening acts that are pretty big time as well.
