That's probably in a TOS somewhere right? I've seen plenty like that. A good way of saying they're against adware without coming out and actually admitting it in case someone was to send tons of joins to them and they didn't want to terminate them. Sponsors who use this terminology usually go on to say that they can terminate any affiliate at their discretion or something similar. You'd report them and the sponsor probably wouldn't do a thing about it because they're not breaking the TOS.

This verbiage to me doesn't mean using adware as an advetising media. It means actually having the download on their site in a deceiving way, like a driveby or "click here" or "play now" and the adware/spyware installs itself silently.

Sponsors that truly are against adware say so in very clear words that leaves no room for misunderstanding or confusion for the "hard of hearing". The rest of them I don't trust as far as I can throw. And those that say "you can send traffic any way you choose" should get thrown out the window without a second thought.
